If two or more players tie for the highest BPS score, they each receive 3 bonus points and no 2-point bonus is awarded. If two players tie for the second-highest score, they both get 2 bonus points and no 1-point bonus is given. If players tie for the third-highest score, all tied players receive 1 bonus point. This means it's possible for more than three players to earn bonus points in a single match.
