    What is Live FPL?

    Live FPL is a free, real-time tracking tool for Fantasy Premier League managers who don't want to wait until after the final whistle to know where they stand. The official FPL website only updates points and rankings after matches finish. Live FPL fills that gap — giving you live points, bonus point projections, rank estimates, and mini-league standings as the action unfolds.

    The tool covers every angle of a live gameweek: from BPS rankings and provisional bonus points, to defensive contribution tracking (CBI and recoveries), auto-sub predictions, and captain swap logic. Everything updates every 60 seconds during matches, so you always have the latest picture.

    Who Built This?

    Live FPL was built by Mark, an FPL manager who got tired of refreshing the official site and guessing where bonus points would land. What started as a quick side project to scratch a personal itch turned into a tool used by thousands of managers every gameweek.

    The site is a one-person project, built and maintained in spare time between gameweeks. New features get shipped when they're ready, bugs get fixed as fast as possible, and the goal is always the same: make match days more fun for FPL managers.

    How It Works

    Live FPL pulls data from the official Fantasy Premier League API every 60 seconds during live matches. That raw data gets processed into the live scores, BPS rankings, and rank estimates you see on the site. Here's what each tool does:

    Live Rank

    Enter your Team ID to see your estimated overall rank in real-time. The rank engine samples thousands of managers across different tiers to build an accurate score distribution, then estimates where your total sits.

    Live Bonus Points

    Track BPS standings for every match as they happen. See who's on track for 3, 2, and 1 bonus points, spot potential overtakes, and know the final bonus allocation before the official site updates.

    Defensive Contributions

    Track clearances, blocks, interceptions (CBI) and recoveries in real-time. Defenders need 10 CBI or recoveries for 2 bonus points, midfielders need 12. See who's close to the threshold during matches.

    Live Leagues

    See your mini-league table update in real-time. Track rivals' captains, chips in play, players yet to play, and live points — all without waiting for the official standings to refresh.

    Data & Accuracy

    All data comes from the official FPL API provided by the Premier League. Live FPL uses the same scoring system as the official game — including captain multipliers, auto-subs, transfer costs, and chip effects. Bonus points are calculated from BPS data using the same 3-2-1 allocation system.

    Rank estimates are typically accurate to within a few thousand places. The estimation improves as more matches in a gameweek are completed, and once all bonus points are confirmed, the estimates closely match the official rank.

    Free, No Account Required

    Live FPL is completely free to use. There are no accounts, no subscriptions, and no paywalls. Just enter your FPL Team ID (the number from your FPL URL) and you're in. Your Team ID is stored locally in your browser — nothing is sent to or stored on any server.
